I’m making a list…and checking it twice ♫. But I’m looking beyond the Christmas season, to 2025! I’m now taking calls for discovery chats starting in January.
A new year often heralds a re-evaluation of priorities and requirements. And the benefits of a career conversation are not restricted to young people making the transition to adulthood.
I offer discovery chats to give my customers a free-of-charge chance to consider how we could work together. A career conversation is not a cosy chat, and it’s #SoMuchMoreThanTalkingAboutJobs. This is a head, heart, time and money investment which needs careful consideration.
From that initial conversation I have packages to suit people at different stages of their career thinking and to give flexibility according to budget.
- I work with young people at the start of their planning to better understand themselves, their options and the labour market they are moving towards.
- I work with adults who are developing or changing career through choice or through changed circumstances.
- I work with universities, charities and businesses looking to support the career development of their students, beneficiaries or employees.
Each career journey is unique. However, there are common themes in where we start the discussion.
- Everyone has character strengths and talents and it’s good to have clarity on what these look like, and how to use them in your planning and job search.
- In a rapidly changing world it can be very useful to sense-check ideas and assumptions.
- Lack of a plan can contribute to anxiety so we can create actionable tasks that put you back in charge of your next steps.
I use lots of different approaches and resources to ensure you can engage in the conversation in a way that suits you.
Most of my conversations take place online, but if that’s not the best model for you, and you live in the High Wycombe area let me know.
You can meet me individually but I’m also offering a small group meet-up, giving the chance to learn from others actively making choices and job searching. Being a job seeker doesn’t need to be a lonely experience.
I’m looking forward to walking with you on your career journey in 2025!
