Who am I?

My name is Kath Dunn and I am a careers and education consultant with over 25 years of experience of working with adults and young people, including people with additional needs and their families.

I also support employers who want to build their talent pipeline and retain great staff, and I provide advice to learning settings that want to help individuals move forward into positive destinations.

I am a registered career development practitioner (RCDP) through the Career Development Institute. This means I am a qualified careers practitioner and that I commit to at least twenty-five hours of learning per year to keep my career development skills fresh. As a RCDP, I also commit to the Career Development Institute’s Code of Ethics, a copy of which can be found here.

I have also completed a Level 3 Neurodiversity and Inclusion: Train the Trainer course and am currently a Hope Scholar with the Positive Psychology Guild. I am currently DBS-checked, and have a Safeguarding in Schools certificate, and I adhere to the professional ethical standards of both the CDI and the PPG.

I founded Careers With Intent to help people find roles in which they feel valued and to help organisations develop their career support for people both in, and seeking, work.

My intention is to be strengths focused, professional and approachable. It is a privilege to support individuals and organisations on their journey to better employment experiences and I look forward to getting to know you.

I often deliver my support online. However, if walking helps you think better, you are in good company! If you are based in High Wycombe or Marlow feel free to suggest that we walk and talk (both local parks are fully accessible).
