Yes. I offer in-person appointments in High Wycombe. However, many of my customers, even those who are local to the area, choose to meet with me online. This offers external support in an environment which is comfortable and set up for your personal access needs. If you are in High Wycombe and find your thinking is helped by being outside in nature let me know as I like to walk and talk too.
I offer a free 15-minute exploration chat during which we discuss what you want to achieve, and whether my approach feels right to you. You can decide whether we will get along!
My customers benefit from my role as cheerleader and challenger. Careers guidance is not a quick fix and is #SoMuchMoreThanTalkingAboutJobs . It should stretch you to think about yourself and the world around you in a different way. It can be an intense experience but is often fun too! Check out my testimonials to see what others have said.
I trained as a careers adviser in 1994 and have consistently maintained my professional development, introducing new guidance models and exercises to my practice on a regular basis. I am a Registered Practitioner with the Career Development Institute. I am a member of the Positive Psychology Guild (PPG). Through the PPG I have become a Neurodiversity and Inclusion Trainer, and am currently studying with them as a “Hope Scholar”.
Careers support is an investment. You may want this support because you have not yet entered the workforce or have become unemployed. I am connected with a range of community organisations who endeavour to increase access to careers support. You can find a list of qualified careers practitioners on the Career Development Institute register. Please contact me to talk through your situation.    Â
There are many helpful, free resources available which can help you take the first steps on your career planning journey. I will often recommend these to customers as a launching off point for our conversation. Take a look at my blog on this topic (27th May 2025) – you can find the blog here.
Our conversation will help you explore where your ideas and aspirations come from, and we will often discuss ambitions that you have not discussed with anyone before. It can be an emotional experience. Our conversation is confidential. My goal is to help you find your way, so I won’t be telling you what to do. But we will explore a variety of approaches that might help you move forward.
